Another Tough Enough Contestant Signs With WWE

 WWE has signed a third female contestant from the revival of Tough Enough which aired on USA Network earlier this year.

Puerto Rican wrestler Ivelisse Velez has reported to developmental territory, FCW in Tampa. She made her debut at a live event last night.

Ivelisse joins Christina Crawford and Ariane Andrew, who are already under contract and have been training in FCW since the show’s end.

Velez was eliminated from Tough Enough after not being able to continue following an in-ring injury.

Prior to Tough Enough, she competed as Juliet the Huntress in Puerto Rico before relocating to Chicago.

Smackdown Results : Foxy Ending To Tamina

We start off our Divas match with Tamina and Rosa (who looks fantastic tonight) in the ring and Natalya on commentary. Alicia Fox is out next, accompanied by Aksana and Fancy Fox Hood. After some really half-assed editing, Alicia is miraculously in the ring and our match is underway.

The ladies start off with a basic lock-up, but Tamina gets the upperhand and throws Alicia into the corner and lays into her with a few stomps. Alicia tries to mount a come back, but Tamina takes her down with a fierce headbutt. Before Alicia can get her bearing Tamina grabs her by the hair and tosses her across the ring a couple of times, sending her crashing to the mat.

Keeping the pressure on her opponent, Tamina locks in a double underhook submission, looking to make the former Divas Champion tapout, while BFF Rosa poses and yells in broken Spanish at ringside. Alicia somehow fights out of the submission and flips Tamina overhead, putting her in the driver seat. Alicia turns up the heat with a flurry of strikes, but Tamina drills her with a elbow to the face, before grounding her with a scoop slam.

Tamina tries to finish Alicia off with a splash, but Alicia rolls away at the last second, sending Tamina face first into the mat. Alicia takes advantage of the opportunity and follows up with the kick to the face, setting Tamina up perfectly for her new somersault leg drop finisher. The ref counts to three and Foxy picks up her the win.

Although short, I thought this match was enjoyable. It seems Tamina has really come into herself as a wrestler. While she still may be green, she knows what works for her and doesn’t try to go outside of her comfort zone, which is good.

A few weeks back, I said that I thought Alicia needed some time to get used to her new face moveset and I think she is swiftly making the transition. While she has retained most of her old moves, she is slowly incorporating new techniques and moves, such as her new finisher. Hopefully, she can keep progressing and avoid the “5 Moves of Doom” routine so many WWE wrestlers fall into.

Speaking of Alicia’s new finisher, I really liked the ending of the match. Alicia’s new finisher looked much better here than it did when she debuted it last week against Natalya and is lot less hit or miss than the scissors kick. I know that a lot of Foxy fans are missing the old finisher, but this new one has definitely won my heart.

Report : Upcoming Divas Title Feud

 
WWE reported that they have plans in building a feud against the WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and her partner Natalya it is said that this feud will be for the WWE Divas Championship timeframe and the storyline is still unknown.

Smackdown Results : Alicia Fox Still Fired Up

Alicia makes her way to the ring first. She's sporting a fox hood. Funny, first WWE gives her Maria's old music, not she's wearing hoods to the ring like Maria used to. As Alicia gets into the ring we cut to commercial break. Back from break and we see a recap of the battle royal from Raw. Natalya makes her way to the ring next, with out her partner in crime Beth Phoenix. 

Match Number Three: Alicia Fox versus Natalya

Natalya with a side head lock and take down. Alicia with a single leg drop kick to Natalya but Natalya sends Alicia into the mat. Natalya with kicks as she tries to work on the leg. Natalya with a Boston Crab and Alicia is about to tap. Alicia kicks Natalya and then she hits an enzuigiri followed by a handspring leg drop for three count.

Winner: Alicia Fox

Nxt Results : Kaitlyn Rises Up and Batemax Falls Down

This week’s show starts off with a recap of Maxine and Derick through this long season of NXT, leading up to the proposal of the year from last week.

JTG is in the ring and he says hello to Hatersville, South Carolina and he wants to know why people are cheering him. He wants everyone to get up and show some respect for the newest fairy tale couple in WWE because this is real, not one of those ‘I want a divorce after 72 days deals’. He brings out Derrick Bateman and Maxine. Derrick carries Maxine out and then they walk to the ring hand in hand. Maxine reminds JTG that they are Batemax. Derrick says that it is a name for a couple that is just a little too hot for TV. He thanks JTG for the introduction and says that he might be a best man. JTG suggests that he would be the Best Fly Man.

Maxine wants to know when it became about JTG. Derrick asks if it is about him winning NXT and Maxine corrects him. Derrick says that he is going to do it right and he is going to do the chivalrous thing and show what 38 weeks of a Rookie salary can buy. Derrick puts the engagement ring on Maxine’s finger and they kick. The happy couple and JTG are interrupted by Titus O’Neil, Percy Watson, AJ Lee, and some barking. Titus says that nobody wants to see them kiss because it makes everyone’s stomachs rumble. Percy comments on the happy couple and he is not glad to see them. Titus suggests that they are trying to get a show on the new WWE Network and suggests that it should be called Young and the Fish Lips.

Percy points out that Wembley from Fraggle Rock is going to marry Chicken of the Sea. Maxine wants Derrick to do something. He says that they are jealous of their love and how Derrick is going to win NXT. He tells them that they are not invited to the party. AJ wonders how many times Maxine can catch a guy like Derrick. She congratulates them and says that Maxine and her ring are cheap and plastic. Titus says that they might be a little rough on Derrick and he was romantic but he went the wrong way. Titus says that Derrick should have tried to find his father to ask for her hand in matrimony. Titus says that they have found Maxine’s father. They pull a fish out of a sack.

Maxine goes after Titus and Percy but JTG and Derrick hold her back. Titus and Percy send Derrick over the top rope. Derrick wants to know why they have to ruin everything. Matt Striker comes out and he says that before things get out of hand, they should save it for the main event where we will have a six person mixed tag match.

FCW Diva Being Called To The WWE? Included In WWE Tour Package.

There could finally be good news for Naomi fans as nearly a year after NXT season three ended, it looks like she may soon be called up.
The talented former FCW Divas Champion is included in WWE’s new program booklet which is available on the company’s current European tour.
It was WWE Superstar Zack Ryder who tweeted a picture of the program which revealed Naomi’s inclusion.
With a slew of departures — most recently including Maryse — there’s certainly room on the roster for the athletically-gifted Diva who delighted many on NXT last year with her unique in-ring style.
