Updates On Maryse

Maryse suggested Friday on Facebook that she will be returning to action soon.

She wrote, "My body is doing GREAT, should be back between the ropes soon, watch out !!!"

The former Divas Champion has been off television since early August. She then underwent surgery on August 24 for an abdominal hernia.

Beth Phoenix (c) Vs Eve Torres Singles Match For The WWE Divas Championship || Vengeance 2011

Eve has been at Kelly Kelly’s side for months, helping the blonde bombshell fend off Divas Champion Beth Phoenix and Natalya. However, after weeks of watching fellow Divas suffer excruciating pain due to the pin-up strong Divas’ unique submission maneuver, Eve will have her chance to lock up with The Glamazon at Vengeance.

Recently named No. 1 contender to the Divas Title, Eve is focused on netting the “Butterfly” for the third time, as well as defending the honor of her fellow Divas. While Kelly Kelly’s new attitude has shown off a more aggressive side to the blonde bombshell, she was unable to recapture the Divas Title. This opened up an opportunity for Eve, and she immediately sent a message to The Glamazon with a convincing victory over Natalya on WWE Raw SuperShow.

Utilizing a unique submission maneuver, Beth and Natalya have been seemingly taking pleasure in hearing the agonizing screams of their opponents including Alicia Fox and Kelly Kelly. But The Glamazon will certainly have her work cut out for her inside the AT&T Center in San Antonio when she squares off with Eve. A student of Gracie jiu-jitsu, Eve is an agile competitor inside the ring and has a wide array of abilities to keep the Divas Champion against the ropes. While The Glamazon is known for her strength and sheer power, Eve’s skills and style may indeed be the perfect counter.

While the Divas Champion will have Natalya lurking at ringside, Eve will most certainly be accompanied by the enraged Kelly Kelly. This contest could prove to be one of the most competitive of the pay-per-view event, or it will simply deteriorate into an all-out brawl? Can Eve end the reign of The Glamazon and net the butterfly emblazoned title for the third time? Tune in to Vengeance this Sunday at 8 ET/5 PT, live on pay-per-view.

Eve Defeated Natalya

We go to the ring and out comes Eve Torres with Kelly Kelly. On a side note, Eve's old version of "She Looks Good" was playing. While Eve and Kelly are in the ring we see that it will be Beth Phoenix vs Eve at Vengeance for the Diva's Championship. Natalya and Beth come out next. It's nice to hear Nattie's theme song for a change.

Eve Torres vs. Natalya

They lock up and Natalya takes it to the corner. Natalya with uppercuts. Eve fights out of the corner but gets clotheslined for a 2 count.

Natalya locks Eve in a submission but she fights out. Eve counters a move and goes for a roll up but Natalya stomps on her. Natalya spanks Eve now as Kelly looks on. Natalya grabs Eve's face and talks trash before slamming her face into the mat. Natalya continues the assault. Eve comes back with an elbow but misses a springboard kick. Eve counters a slam and lays Natalya out. Eve goes up top for a moonsault and nails it for the win.

Winner: Eve Torres

After the match, Beth runs in the ring and goes for Eve but Eve runs off to the ramp with Kelly.

Melina Talks About The Solidarity Rally

Former 2 Time WWE Divas Champion and 3 Time WWE Womens Champion Melina fielded a question from a Twitter follower tonight on the topic of the “Occupy Raw” storyline, giving her take on the walkouts and what she thinks the WWE Universe deserves to receive from the “1%” of the WWE that is in power:
Last Monday, the Superstars of Raw voted "no confidence" in WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H's leadership of WWE's flagship brand. Former WWE Women's Champion Melina has weighed in on the matter as a fan asked her on Twitter tonight during Raw if she herself would have walked out.

Melina responds (which she later challenged the "dirt sheets" to publish): "I don't watch the show but this is my take, I would have walked out on the people who tell lies to the WWE Universe who say they fight for them and that they are trying to make a change but they aren't trying at all.

"That "1%" who are only out for themselves and don't care who they step on to get there do not have my respect. I'd walk out on those hypocrites but that has nothing to do with the fans. I would walk out on the people strangling the art of wrestling because The Fans DESERVE to see the talent they love get opportunities! The WWE Universe DESERVES to see The BEST in sports entertainment which is not being provided. I would walk out on those who are keeping the Fans from getting that.

"As I said before, I do not watch so I don't know what the story lines are or what's going on. I'm just pretending what I would do in an imaginary scenario that has lots of truth behind it."

Melina continued airing her grievances as she further explained why she no longer watches WWE programming.

"I don't watch because I know that everyone is kept from what they are capable of. There's so much talent being held back," she wrote to a fan. "I used to watch as a fan. Knowing what I know, it hurts to watch my friends not be able to do what they are capable of doing."

She added further, "I do believe the fans deserve 2C what THEY want & not be told what they "should" C. Stop playing & give the fans what they want!"

Eve Thinks the Divas of Doom Should Be “Looking Over Their Shoulders”

Got This From diva-dirt.com

In a new WWE.com video, Eve Torres talks about her and teammate Kelly Kelly‘s victory on last Monday’s Raw, clearly pleased that she got the chance to prove herself and happy with Kelly’s new aggressiveness.
Upon hearing that Beth Phoenix and Natalya were watching the match backstage, Eve wondered if they looked concerned and said that they probably should be. “Maybe,” she mused, “they’re the ones who should be looking over their shoulders.”

Beth Phoenix Defeated Kelly Kelly

As we head to a commercial break, we see both Kelly Kelly and Eve Torres heading out to the ring as the recycled version of Kristal Marshall’s old theme song plays in the background. Upon return, we see Beth Phoenix and Natalya make their way to the ring in matching gear. I shall admit, the Divas Title looks pretty good on Beth’s shoulder…but nonetheless, the upbeat theme of Kelly Kelly hits, as she and Eve enter the arena. Kelly removes her Dallas themed jersey, as the bell sounds and we kick things up.
Beth ambushes Kelly into the corner and begins choking her relentlessly! She backs up and charges forward, but Kelly ducks out of the way and takes control, smashing the Glamazon’s head into the corner and proceeding to level her with kicks to the stomach. K2 ducks a clothesline and runs off the ropes, looking to go for her patented spinning headscissors. After a few lightning fast spins that make even me feel dizzy, Beth manages to stop the move and drop her with a sick backbreaker.
A kiss blown from the Glamazon’s mouth follows, as she hooks the leg but only gets a two count. Beth starts slapping Kelly in the back of the head, but this only fires K2 up as she begins decking Beth with an assortment of punches. From there, Kelly runs off the ropes with her, now patented, Lou Thesz Press, as she continues to go crazy on her rival with fists to the face. Both women get to a vertical base, as Kelly is sent flying into the ropes. She comes back with a nice spinning DDT for a two count.
Beth falls into the corner, allowing Kelly to run forward with her handspring elbow attempt. Beth catches her though, and lifts her over the top rope. Kelly lands on the ring apron, but Beth quickly grabs her by the head and smashes her face first into one of the metal poles on the turnbuckle. From there, she grabs K2 by the arms and drags her inside the ring. She’s up……and DOWN with the Glam Slam. Beth flips Kelly over and covers for the victory.
Divas of Doom celebrate…as Kelly and Eve plot their next move for Diva domination.

Gail Kim Interview

Interview highlights courtesy of diva-dirt.com and dazzledbydivas.com

* Gail reveals that the Divas today are told: “You’re getting too physical” and “You’re getting too good”, indicating that they don’t want the women to upstage the male wrestlers.

* Gail says she got the opportunity to be in a documentary about successful Korean people but WWE wouldn’t let her do it.

* Gail says winning Knockouts Title meant more than winning Women’s Title because it wasn’t just handed to her. She says she was part of building the division and that made it more special.

* Low-Ki told her about Awesome Kong (Kharma). When they were talking about who to bring in for the division, Gail said why don’t we bring in Kong — she had never seen her work or even a picture of her but thought she would be unique for the division.

* As far as she knows, she never knew of ideas for her to work with Kharma in WWE in a storyline, but they had plans to have her work Kharma’s first singles match.

* Gail says the plan was for Kharma to feud with Beth Phoenix.

* Gail says the Knockouts never talked about their pay in TNA. Any frustration was between talent and office, not with each other.

* Gail on leaving TNA: She was in contract negotiations, but was having financial issues. She says the pay she was being offered, she couldn’t accept at that time. WWE reached out and offered her more money. She said she spoke to everyone in the TNA office and bawled when she spoke to Jeff Jarrett. She says: “When life takes over, you have to do what you have to do to pay your bills.”

Kelly Kelly Speaks Out

Kelly Kelly has had enough.
It’s been more than a week since the feisty competitor brutalized Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in a fit of rage on the Oct. 3 Raw SuperShow and still she’s fired up by the mere mention of The Glamazon and her crony, Natalya.
“They’ve been torturing me and making me miserable for the last few months,” she told WWE.com in the locker room of Dallas' American Airlines Center. “Losing the title [to Beth at WWE Hell in a Cell] just topped it off. The next night, I let my frustrations get to me and I just let out everything I’ve been holding back.”
By the looks of her attack on Beth, Kelly had been holding back a lot. In a moment that many WWE fans likened to demonic possession, the perky blonde kicked and screamed as she unleashed hell on Beth Phoenix, repeatedly slamming The Glamazon’s head into the business end of the announcer’s table.
It was an aggressive side the friendly Diva suppressed for some time. Transitioning from the pages of bikini magazines to the WWE rings of Extreme Championship Wrestling in 2006, Kelly Kelly was an impressionable teenager when she first entered the rough world of sports-entertainment. Fun loving and naive, she made mistakes early like painting an American flag on her bare chest and dating the walking carpet known as Mike Knox. The Florida native soon found her way, though, developing as a singles competitor before finally capturing the Divas Championship in June of 2011.
But Kelly’s crowning achievement soon became a cross to bear when she was targeted by Beth & Natalya — two women who believed it was their purpose in life to “save” the Divas division. Labeling the beautiful blonde as a sham champion, the powerful duo offered Kelly no respect, routinely attacking her after matches and dismissing her as nothing more than a model trying to pass for a grappler.

Kelly weathered the abuse with the help of her good friend Eve and even beat Beth on two consecutive occasions, but something changed inside of her when The Glamazon defeated her for the Divas Championship at WWE Hell in a Cell with some outside help from Natalya.
“I was pretty devastated about how it happened,” Kelly admitted. “I felt like I got cheated out of the title and there was nothing I could do.”
Of course, Kelly did do something when she smashed Beth on the Raw SuperShow, revealing a ruthless side of herself that the WWE Universe hadn’t seen before.
“I’ve never done anything like that and I don’t know where it came from,” she said immediately following the incident.
The perfect blonde may have surprised even herself that night, but looking back now, she’s acutely aware of where "it" came from. In the five years since she debuted as a grinning exhibitionist, Kelly has fought back against negativity and naysayers to earn the respect of not only WWE fans, but the Divas locker room and she's not about to let her tormentors take that away from her.
“After five years, this is finally my time,” the determined Diva said. “I’m going to take it and I’m going to show people that I’m not just a pretty face.”
Sounding more confident and gritty than she ever has, Kelly made it clear that she will not settle until she reclaims the Divas Championship. And to the woman currently holding that title, she has this to say:
“There's much more of this side of me to come.”

AJ Defeated Maxine

Maxine with Derrick Baterman Vs AJ Lee with Titus O' Neil and Percy Watson

Maxine snap AJ back first on the second rope in an awesome looking neckbreaker. She covers for a two count, before throwing AJ where half of her body is on the ring apron and the other half in the ring. She bends AJ over the bottom rope until she reaches the appropriate count to let go, before viciously pounding on the plaid clad diva’s chest.
Maxine screams at the referee and drags AJ back to the center of the ring for a one count, before applying a beautiful dragon sleeper as the crowd begins to chant “LET’S GO AJ”. William Regal informs us about Maxine’s cousin, as AJ begins to fight back with punches to the face. AJ tries to Irish whip Maxine, but she counters and drops AJ throat first on the top rope. Maxine slams AJ face first into the canvas, before applying a choke hold where she digs her knee into the back of the underdog.
Maxine picks AJ up and Irish whips her into the ropes, but AJ comes back with a kick to the face. She tries for some momentum, but Maxine stops her with a running elbow to the face for a close count. She picks AJ up and hits a nice snap suplex for a two count, before going back to the Dragon Sleeper as Jack Korpela questions Maxine’s ulterior motives in her relationship with Derrick Bateman. AJ starts to fight back, but Maxine is too powerful in her dominance.
She tosses AJ into the corner, as we find out Maxine dyed her hair red because John Laurinaitis likes red heads (oh lord). Maxine becomes relentless on AJ, just beating her down. She climbs to the second rope and begins punching AJ in the face, but she takes her head off the game for a second to play to the crowd, which is just enough time for AJ to throw her back first into the canvas. Maxine gets to a vertical base, as AJ climbs to the top rope and leaps off with a beautiful crossbody for a one count.
Clothesline by AJ, followed by a slide under the legs into a reverse spin kick! Two count for AJ, as both women try their hardest to get a victory. AJ begins fighting back with an assortment of punches, until the devious Maxine capitalized with a hair pull backbreaker. She sends AJ into the corner and goes for a roll up but AJ rolls through it and lands a SICK shining wizard for the victory! AJ celebrates as the dance worthy theme hits, and Maxine seems disgusted with what has just transpired.

Kelly Kelly Still Fired Up

To start things off, we were treated to a video package highlighting what happened between Kelly, Eve, and the Divas of Doom last week. It set us up for the match, which had both teams already in the ring. Rosa decided to start things off against Kelly. She begins her attack by shoving the former Diva’s Champion, which does nothing but infuriate the blond bombshell. Kelly takes Rosa to the corner and starts working her over by slamming the brunette’s head into the turnbuckle. Kelly resorts to kicking, as well, until the referee gets involved and sends her back. A feisty Kelly goes to the opposite side and comes back with her handspring/back elbow combo which Rosa nearly mucks up by coming out from the corner too early. No surprise there. Kelly’s not fazed and simply climbs to the top, wraps Rosa in a choke, and bends backwards over the ropes. The referee counts down and the Florida native flips onto the ground, reaches in, and jerks Rosa’s legs out from underneath her. Kelly climbs back into the ring, stomps the crap out of Rosa, and eventually has to be restrained by the referee. That allows Rosa to make the tag to Tamina.
Tamina lumbers into the ring but is met with a Thesz Press. Kelly takes some of her aggression out on Tamina, but the stronger competitor overcomes it and finally knocks Kelly off her game. She clubs the former ECW dancer in the back to bring her down to the mat and drops a knee across Kelly’s throat. Tamina backs up to the ropes and uses the momentum to go for a splash, but Kelly is able to move. She crawls to her corner, makes the tag to Eve, and for some reason, Eve hesitates before getting into the ring. Tamina, who is back up to her feet, brings Eve into the ring herself, but Eve dodges the flip attempt by landing on her feet and turning Tamina’s offense into a beautiful arm drag takedown. Both ladies get back to their feet, but it’s time to show off her flash. Tamina is sent to the mat and Eve backs against the ropes only to come back with a front somersault. She lands squarely in Tamina’s mid-section and hooks the leg for a cover. Rosa makes the save.
As Rosa is celebrating, Kelly takes exception to her actions, and lets her know about it via a running bulldog. She kicks Rosa out of the ring, follows her to the outside, and lets Eve have the spotlight. Eve brings Tamina up, but the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Snuka drives Eve into the corner. Eve battles back with an elbow to Tamina’s jaw and springs off the middle rope with a fancy little kick that sends Tamina into the perfect position for one of Eve’s finishers. Eve checks behind her to make sure all is well, and then she climbs to the top rope. One perfect looking moonsault later, Tamina is pinned, and the tag team of Eve and Kelly have picked up yet another win.
Kelly climbs back into the ring to celebrate with her BFF, and backstage we see that Beth Phoenix andNatalya, fresh from the Occupy Raw rally, are watching and making faces at the monitor.

Kelly Kelly and Eve Did Not Vote At The End Of Raw

It was noted that during the final segment on RAW last night, names like John Cena, CM Punk, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mason Ryan, Eve Torres and Kelly Kelly weren't at ringside. Word is that WWE was expecting the fans to boo the Superstars who walked out and didn't want  certain ones getting heat from the crowd
